Bilingual Troubleshooting Guide Offers Quick Solutions
Silmar®, a major supplier of casting and solid surface resins to the cast polymer industry, has developed a bilingual troubleshooting guide for cultured-marble manufacturers. The guide provides quick reference to common casting problems and simple, step-by-step solutions. Color cues facilitate faster reading. A complete glossary defines commonly used terms and provides additional information to help identify the various casting problems.
The color, 36x24-inch poster has English on one side and Spanish on the other. It is laminated for extra durability and has two grommets across its top for hanging. The poster’s size allows for easy reading, and it can be hung in a convenient location for reference when it’s needed. “Having it bilingual makes the information better understood by everyone who needs it,” says Daryl Francis, Business Manager-West, North American Composites.
In addition, color, 8.5x11-inch versions in each language were created. These documents contain the same information as their larger counterpart. However, their portable format is intended for desk reference, and they are threehole punched. “We recognize what a handy tool these guides are,” continues Francis. “When customers can solve typical casting problems themselves, it becomes possible to eliminate them altogether. We think this information goes a long way toward eliminating some common headaches and achieving more consistent results for customers.”
To order the bilingual poster or the binder inserts (specify which language), contact your Thermoset Resins Division sales representative or distributor.
