Pinnacle Award Winner Teresa Bergamin Purchasing Agent When it comes to wearing multiple hats, Teresa Bergamin is a queen. Although her official responsibility is purchasing agent for the Auburn, Washington, offi ce, it’s not uncommon for her to help in customer service, advise on off-shore reinforcement orders, help forecast warehouse turns, and train offi ce personnel. “Teresa is the backbone of the Auburn office,” said Kevin Williams, NAC Northwest District Manager. “She has a wonderful attitude, works hard, and takes her responsibilities seriously. She is the go-to person in the district.” Williams said Bergamin’s role is additionally complex because the Auburn offi ce supports four Canadian provinces. “She understands brokerage and customs issues, and conversions of U.S. and Canadian currency, conventional and metric measurements. Even the Canadian holidays needs to be learned to ensure timely deliveries. Teresa seems to do it so easily; when we all know it isn’t so simple.” Congratulations, Teresa! Pinnacle Award Winner
