(St. Paul, MN – August 21, 2008) Richard Rodriguez, Vice President and Business Manager - East of Interplastic Corporation’s North American Composites Division (NAC) announced that John Shannon has joined NAC as a Sales Representative. John will be responsible for managing the Western Tennessee, Northern Mississippi and Western Kentucky territories.

John has more than 19 years of sales experience with 10 of those years selling raw materials to manufacturers in a distribution environment. He is a graduate of Freed-Hardeman College, Henderson, Tennessee, with B.S. in Biology and Chemistry. Prior to joining Interplastic, John was Composites Consultant.

North American Composites is a national distributor and full-service supplier of composites raw materials based in Lino Lakes, MN. NAC serves manufacturers in marine, cast polymer, corrosion, construction, consumer and related composites industries.
